What is the name of the book?

I may get stuck a lot in life, but at least I stick with it:)

GOOD NEWS!!

Hi all,

I have been lurking for a while because life has been very busy. But now I

have something REALLY woderful to tell you all. I have been working through

a temp agency after dropping out of graduate school. My work environment is

stressful and us employees are treated as a commodity, not as human beings.

Attrition rate in this field is about 100%, and in about 2 months I was

considered to be a veteran in my assignment location. Well, I have now

lasted almost 7 months and it is time to move on. Especially because my

health insurance is very inadequate, I cannot AFFORD to see a doctor!!!

Recently, I have been filling out applications and interviewing. And finally

my luck has turned!!! After a two hour pleasant interview with a national

industry leader in wireless e-mail and internet services and paging, I was

hired as an entry level associate with full benefits including tuition

reimbursement, profit sharing AND the much needed excellent health, vision

and dental plans!!! I am just waiting for my drug test and background check

results and I should be starting in a week or two.

My new boss seems very modern and supportive. We had an instant, positive

rappor. My new work environment emphsizes creativity and friendly customer

service (while the old one requires absolute obedience and sticking to the

existing monotone patterns, no matter how inefficient, outdated or moronic

they might be).

Also, one of my candida books listed an MD that treats Candida only about 45

minutes away!!!

I feel that I have already gotten the best possible Xmas present: the chance

for a better, brighter future!!!

Kate

what a releif for you! i know how you feel, nathan

didnt get any teeth until after a 1yr old, and then

started loosing baby teeth around 7-8 yrs old, and

like your they wouldnt fall out, they would grow

behind baby teeth, and the old tooth would be loose

but would just come out. thankfully our specialty

pediatric dentist was very good, he would just have

nathan come in, using those grippers just pulled out

the tooth in a blink of an eye nathan felt nothing, he

likes the dentist mainly, just hates those chairs,

reminds him of the otolarynologist where they clean

his ears out every time so they can see his

canals, uugh. is also a grinder, still does, the

dentist even asked me why i think he does this i

stated its probably a sensory thing, he agreed. I wish

nathan would identify pain as yours has learned to do,

were not at that point as of yet, he knows what an

owie is when he sees one on someone else, he cant

leave it alone, lol, drives his little accident prone

brother crazy, and will cry if hurt all of a sudden

but its very short lived. shawna.

Debbie,

Glad it's over and you have good news. Hope you get to the bottom of the

pain. It can drive you crazy.

Again glad all went well with the biopsy.

Dear Debbie,

I am so glad that you have stayed stable. Hope

you feel better and the nausea goes away soon!

[ ] Good

News!!

Well I made through the biopsy and I can tell you that

it's nothing I

ever want to do again. I'm extremely glad

it's over and even happier

about the results. My liver has some

inflamation and grade 2

fibrosis. Pretty much where it was when I

was first dx. I'm very

pleased and so is the doc. He wants me to

stay a 2.5 mg. of

predisone. That's doable. I'm sure my

body will eventually adjust

to that and I can start leading a normal life

again.

I still don't know what's causing the pain and

nausea. I guess I

need to go back to my gastroenterologist.

I'm just so happy it's not

my liver!!!

Thanks to all for the support and prayers. I

am so grateful to have

this group. You guys are the best!!

Love,

Debbie/FL

Yeah, but they won't believe you. To them we're just

old. My 14 year old was concerned about the asteroid

that might hit earth in 2019. She told me I didn't

have to worry about it cuz I'd be so old. Gee, I'll be

63 and hopefully retired and traveling.

Hi Sharon,

You poor thing. Do you think you will make it to travel at the ripe

old age of 63?????? Kids are so funny. They think we are antiques. I

had a ice compliment the other day. We had to take my 35 year old son to

the E.R. He is OK now. My other son and I went with him. (my 34 yr.

old)... The woman who drew his blood was the one who used to come in and

take my blood... My son called me Mom and she said did he call you Mom?

I said yes he did because he is my son, and so is this one. She said you

don't look old enough to be their Mom...His Girlfriend maybe, but not

his Mom... I said no I am their Mother... Needless to say she can draw

my blood anytime... ;o So you see Sharon the kids start getting older

too and they look like our brothers or sisters.... Ha ha ha .... They

love the compliments about us then... Makes them proud to hear that

about their mom... My 12 year old Grandson gets a kick out of it when

people think I am his Mom instead of Grandmom... I was going to wear a

skort out last week and he asked me not to wear it because he didn't

want anyone looking at his Grandmom..... I wasn't ging to wear it anyway

but don't think when the kids are grown it gets easier.... We then get

to spoil our Grandchildren.... :)

Hey there Dennis... Get cleaned up and come on back and tell us about

your vacation. , you have a Super week-end too... As well as

everyone here. Terry. Are you telling me that you have been on good

behavior???? Next you will try to have me believing that -dz- is

behaving also!!!! I'm not falling for that one.... ;o I miss you all too

Terry.... Good to be back.. Sending healing hugs to one and all....

Terry. Tell suzy I said Hi.

Diane

Diane first of all You don't look 54. If I didn't know, I would of guess you were in her late 30's or early 40's. Susy Mom & Dad had her when they were in there in their late 30's & early 40's. When Susy was 12 & was out shoping people would to her Mom, What a cute granddaughter you have.

Hi and welcome all new members!

You have come to a great place for knowledge and understanding. Between

this place and my doctor I am finally beginning to understand this

disease so it must be time for it to through me a loop, LOL.

, I totally understand your comment " and have experienced

difficulty not eating the furniture and anything else not nailed down

since being on the prednisone. "

In my early years with Stills, My husband said to me when we were out to

dinner with some friends, " Are you going to eat the tablecloth?! " We

did not understand then about prednisone and all the ramifications, that

was 17 years ago! Most of us have a love-hate relationship with that

drug. Take care, Louise.

> Congratulations to your husband. I just don't understand this entire

prednisone thing. I am greatful for it believe me and can fully believe

{ if not have it make sense logically} that the 5mg can make all the

difference. I was a few hours late taking my pred the other day and

thought I was going to die, I didn't knowwhat was wrong with me then

realized! So much of this Stills stuff seems to be about balance. Is that

correct in others findings?

How are people effected weight wise? I have lost nothing { wish I had! }

and have experienced difficulty not eating the furniture and anything else

not nailed down since being on the prednisone.

Soooooooo many questions.....
