Guest guest
Good news about the blood work. UGH about the septic tank. This is the first house we have owned with a septic tank. and so far <knock on wood> <lots of praying> no problems. And hopefully we won't have any before we are incorporated! We have city water and use a 10 step filtration system-just not city sewage until we get incorporated... Peace Be With You, Pattie Don't let your past dictate who you are now, but let it be a part of who you will become. _____ Hello to all, I finally have a little good news this week. So far my son Nick's blood test have come back ok. Igg, iga, igm and ige are all normal. We have now waiting for vacine response. His thyroid also came back ok. Of course our leach field has failed and the cost is 25,000 dollars for a new septic tank and field.....what a week. I am still waiting to start ivig myself but nick seems ok. I am greatful for that. Guest guest
Pattie, our field was built in 1940 so it is not only old but small. When we bought the house in 1999 we replaced a d-box and straight pipe right away that was tough. The cost 1500 dollars approx. We have a friend (my husband is a firefighter so they all have part time jobs) who is doing the work. The bathroom in our basement needs a seaprate tank and we have to do new plumbing work Does that help? Dawn lynne llerrom <bo_swoman@...> wrote: Dawn- Tell me more about your leach fielD. Guest guest
TGIF!! I went to see a doctor on from the website that Patty posted - the one which listed doctors who prescribe armour thyroid. HE WAS WONDERFUL! He is a family doctor who specializes in thyroid. He is both a medical doctor and natural doctor. He says he tries to do what is best for each patient. I am set up the week after next to get my Free T3 & T4 check as well as my Cortisol that morning (then later that afternoon) and my DHEA. He said we can do the saliva testing if I prefer but it is not covered by insurance. So we are choosing to do the blood cortisol first and then the saliva test if I want. He wants to see all the records from my recent rheum visit and if my ana isn't getting better he would like to do food testing tests (if that makes sense on me). He does admit there is a correlation to implants and sickness. He was great!! I told him about the last endo I saw, the one that was so rude to me and gave my synthroid without even taking my blood. He knew her and stated that I am not the only person who has ever called her rude. Anyhow, just wanted to share my news... I guess I can now fire my regular family doctor since this doc does it all Oh, and Patty he is on the same page as you with Synthroid not doing a thing for people who have trouble converting T4 to T3. He said they can take as much as they want and it won't help. But he said it does work for certain people. Again, it is all individual. Hugs!! Guest guest
Lynn, Isn't it an incredible feeling when you find a medical professional who believes there's a correlation between implants and illness, and isn't afraid to admit it? Hello Everyone!I just wanted to share this good news with you. My son is really into video editing, sound boards and stuff like that. At his school he is always chosen to run the sound equipment when they have events, concerts, guest speakers etc. Anyway, at the Christmas Concert the guy from the local cable company came to record it and had to hook his equipment into my son's sound board. I guess my son talked for a while with this guy, letting him know he was interested in a job working with sound and video! (I just can't believe he started a conversation with a guy he'd never met before!)Anyway, the guy phoned me two days ago, telling me how impressed he was at how my son ran the sound board, said he did a better job than some adults could! (of course, this is partly because he " hyper-focuses on this task he loves!) And then he asked if he would be interested in some volunteer work at the station!! Of course my son said yes! And today he got to go down and tour the station, then he was the " switcher " when they recorded a little local show. (this isn't network tv or anything, just small town local programming)My son has been fixated on this type of thing for a long time and it's so exciting to see it become something more for him! The guy that called said he was very happy with the job he did and hopes to get him volunteering a lot more - and he also said if he volunteers and gets to learn a lot, when they are hiring, he should have enough experience to get the job!!My son is so happy and I am so proud of him for making the effort to talk with someone he didn't know, and to be able to show how he could be an asset!Estevan, SKCanada
