Guest guest
Has anyone been asked to participate in Genetic Counseling? When my brother went to Pricess Margaret Hospital in Toronto Canada for second opinion on his stage IV colon cancer, the onc. seemed to be more interested in getting us (other siblings) on gen. counseling than treating my brother. Is it because we have a big family (12 brothers/sisters) and that might help better with the finding? my brother is the 3rd youngest in the familiy and so far, 9 of us have had colonoscopy done and all were negative. Should we participate? Right now, the first thing on our minds is getting my brother better, hopefully to have his cancer in remission before thinking of anything else. What is everyone's opinion on this subject? Thanks Loc
