Please accept our warm welcome. We expect to open in Northern Virginia in the Fall of 2005. We appreciate your interest and will make every effort to meet your expectations.Dave and Claudette Muchnikoff created Wheat Free Café after perfecting, with the help of their friend, Francesco Ughetto, former chef to the Italian ambassador, a gluten free pizza for their children who have celiac disease. Celiac disease is the most extreme form of gluten sensitivity. Gluten is part of the protein found in certain grains such as wheat, barley and rye and is extremely difficult to digest. Those that remove gluten from their diets experience improved health. Wheat Free Café strives to be a family friendly restaurant and hopes to provide you an exceptional dining experience. We will be serving delicious pizza, pasta from

Italy topped by special sauces developed by Francesco Ughetto, our executive chef, corn based tortilla wraps, healthy salads topped by our delicious salad dressings, and sweet deserts. Wheat Free Café will appeal to all appetites while providing the health benefits from being gluten free.Feel free to join our guest book so that we can inform you of upcoming events and special promotions.
