I was wondering about the cost. Haven't seen anyone mention it.

I believe it is $40 something a month. They have a web site.

I think it will be good for me. Close to my house---and in my

community I know there is latitude in thinking. I'm looking forward

to doing something to get this weight off. I don't think I can face

another visit to the Doctor and the reality of the scales.

The lbs are coming off.

My local Curves charges $29 a month if you let them withdraw it from your

checking acct automatically. I also had not noticed any proseltyzing, and

the exercise program works well for me (when I go).

Well...I am a Christian, so it wouldn't bother me if they did...but

I was a member of Curves for 15 months and never once was

anything " Christian " said or anything forced on me.

The Staff was very nice and helpful and the music was generic. I

always begged for the country music...got a little tired of the pop

stuff...but it's not a big deal...the music helps you keep moving

and stay on target with the stations.

I paid for a year when I joined and it worked out to $30 a month or

so. I went EVERY DAY for the first year...it was right on my way

home, so it was easy to stop in, do the loop and then go on home.

But they moved and I had to drive 30 minutes to get there...so I

didn't last more than a few more months. Too much trouble.

If they opened one on my " route " again...I'd sure be there opening

day to sign up!!!
