Hi Sharon, This is okay with me, however, when members are thinking about getting a new meter or new members want to know what others use, the question is going to be asked. Lot of members prefer asking the question rather than looking in the files. We constantly have a turnover of members. Some of the comments in the files could be by members that have left the group. There are always going to be repeated discussions on every topic dealing with diabetes. Again, it doesn't matter to me. Eunice

Guest guest
Good idea. Ya know I was also wishing people would post some of the great links they send out in the links section too. Lot of times, I don't have time to look at them and would love to go back later. Later I forget it or can't remember where or who posted the link. Hmmmm. Maybe I had better go check the links. It just dawned on me that I haven't looked lately. LOL Joyce > Ppl have been sending some good info on their monitors . Perhaps a simpler method of providing this information would be to conduct a periodic poll to record which meters are in use by the members of this group. While not a particularly scientific approach, this would, at least, offer new members some " real world " information as to which meters are more prevalent. Repeating the poll at six- month or one-year intervals would keep the data current and would allow a simple trend analysis of the meters which have gained or lost in usage from poll to poll. Of course, this approach presumes that people are fairly well satisfied with the meters they use, which may or may not be true. Anyway, just a thought ...
