Guest guest
Hi, I am more of a lurker than a poster but just had to share the following. A fella I know controls diabetes T2 (13 years) using exercise/diet only. His method of control is to eat like a " King " at breakfast, like a " Queen " at lunch, like a " Pauper " at dinner. In other words the carbs are not distributed in the usual manner. He also runs stairs after each meal. Fast up stairs and slower down. He exercises enough to bring the BG back down within 2 hrs. I have been trying this, that is eating like a " Q " for lunch, " P " for dinner and my BG's have returned back to normal. I control via diet/exercise only 5.2-5.7 range for past 4 years. Have not altered breakfast due to the oatmeal mixture serving me so well at that time. If anyone uses the " KQP " method of control please let us know how it works for you. My fasting BG was getting higher and higher, but, now it is back down in the non-diabetic range. Marie
Guest guest
Sounds interesting. I'd prob have to it the opposite though as my body metabolises more during the evening and early morning (5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.) hours rather than the times I'm up and about. Spyder moorheadspyder@...
