Help me understand, Please?

Hey there:

My girlfriend has Chiari and she has come to the

conclusion that surgery is a necessity. I can't even

begin to describe her pain because I couldn't ever

imagine what she is going through.

I want to help ease her pain but I don't know where to

begin. She means the world to me and I can't stand to

see her suffer like this. Is there anything I can do

to help her get ready for her surgery? The date hasn't

been confirmed so I still have alot of time to help

ease her mind.

Also, is there anything I can do to help her after the

surgery? I know she'll be in alot of pain, how do I

help ease that? Any suggestions? Any is appreciated.
