Uttar Pradesh: UPSACS Sensitization Campaign

Dear All

In Uttar Pradesh an initiative taken by UPSACS with the support of USAID, FHI,

Futures and CMAI, which was awaited by PLHA community from last few years.

 

In all districts of Uttar Pradesh one day training program in “Sensitive,

timely and relevant treatment, care and support for people living with HIVâ€

will conduct for staffs of District Hospitals from 16th Feb. 09 to 27 Feb. 09.

The trainer team comprises one PLHIV & one Doctor. Ten teams will move to entire

UP for conducting these trainings.

 

After this training the participants would have:

Enhanced knowledge about HIV transmission in hospital setting.

Enhanced commitment to provide sensitive and timely treatment for people living

with HIV and AIDS.
