Guest guest
My shoes got loose and my upper plate did too - really. My belt ran out of notches, I can feel my bones when sitting on a hard chair. My hat sits too far down on my head, when I shower I can see ALL the way down (g>. And the cat has more room to lie down on my lap, ditto my wife. > WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! That's great progress. I was once in a group called TOPS and one of our assignments was to find *other* ways to tell you are lossing, not only by the number on the scale. Here are some of the ones I remember...... <snip> > Can anyone come up with others? Give us your experiences in this area so we can realize that BOAB is NOT the only way to tell we are lossing. > S
Guest guest
I like when my rings can spin around my finger so the diamond is on the bottom. Also when I wake up in the morning and I stretch and can actually feel ribs and hip bones! Therese Needing a new bra because the old one is too big Can anyone come up with others? Guest guest
To add to the conversation of what others way you can see you are losing besides the scale... This week I wore jeans that I bought last year and have never been able to wear, and I was able to not only wear a belt, but close it on the farthest hole! I haven't bought a belt in many years, and now I will have to buy a smaller one, as this one is too big now! And I put on a tshirt, and it hung rather nicely, not stretched over my behind as it used to be! South Beach works! Lets stay strong, and make healthy choices - the holidays are rough, be we can do it! Hopefully this will be the wear that I don't gain 10 pounds over the holidays (literally!). For those Trader Joe fans, they make a single serving frozen eggplant parmesan that is not breaded, I had it tonight - it is great. Guest guest
Congrats to you. And thank you for the Trader JOe info. I have one right by work and we have one opening in Tacoma soon. I think it might even be open. But I was to try eggplant and didn't want to cook it and mess it up myself. Is it a single serving thing. could I go grab it for lunch and heat it up?
