Guest guest
Tere are two methods of taking tempas. FIRST would be Broda method of using a BASAL temp which is first thing inthe Am before gettign out of bed. It has limitations in that it does nto show adrenal status atall and is varaible with women's cycles. Then there is themethod I prefer which is www.drrind.com method. Where you start after yu have been awake & up for 3 hours or more mand take it three time s aday. The daily average shoudld be 98.6 for best thyroid useage and should not vary more than .2 from one daily average to thenext for good cortils levels,. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I like drrind's method better. It makes more sense to do it that way. I am going to start that today. Guest guest
Personally, I think a combo of the two is the way to go. If you do basal (BB) then you know what your thyroid is doing and doing the 3 a day really tells you what adrenals are doing. Why not do both? I like drrind's method better. It makes more sense to do it that way. I am going to start that today. Venizia > > Tere are two methods of taking tempas. Guest guest
venizia..how do you feel differently with the potassium Subject: Re: Potassium builds over time, not?To: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, June 30, 2009, 11:25 AM Welcome back Val. Hope you are feeling better! Yes I am amazed at the difference in how I feel with building up the Potassium. I am taking 60 to 80 meq a day.I have a question on how you mention in another post to take temps...I thought our first temps should be taken before we get out of bed. Is that a waste of time....I think it might be, because if I wake a 6:30 and take it, it is much lower than if I wake at 8am and then take it.Venizia>> Mine is finally leveling out again at 4.1 which si stil a bti lower than > wher Istayed at PRE-supplementing it! Guest guest
First thing in the morning my first sign of being low in potassium is feeling nausea. This is a definite sign for me and has been for many years. That is gone. Fatigue is another problem that is going away since getting the brand name potassium ( I believe I was not absorbing the generic which has been a problem several times with meds) I used to lift 5# weights a couple of times a day. About a month ago, I stopped, no strength. That is also coming back. I started lifting weights on Monday. Swelling is decreased. Able to concentrate more. I like to read but in the last month, I could read maybe only 5 min. and then I would not be able to tell you what I read. ALL this has improved and I have been taking the brand name since last week. Oh also I am taking a prescription dose. Hope this helps. Venizia > > venizia..how do you feel differently with the potassium > >
