Guest guest
That maks sense. LOL!!! So, folks, what's the going price of tomatoes in your favorite grocery store? Here in North Bend (about 90 miles southwest of Eugene) they are 3.98 a pound at Safeway. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
I'm not sure to be honest. I guess maybe I'm the exception to the rule - before I started this diet (today) I eat so many vegetables already my roommate laughs at me. For me, even if it were cheaper to eat badly, I wouldn't want to do so - I'm a very healthy eater and have pretty much always been so. So I'm sure you're not alone - I was more talking about the general public in the USA right now. Like that movie SuperSize Me. -Amie Re: Food Prices (was: MY DAILY MENU) > > > > I would wager that the combined problems of high cost healthy food, > extremely low cost bad food, lower incomes across most of the nation while > working more hours, all contribute to people having less money and time to > prepare healthy meals. > > > > Kraft Mac & Cheese (the GOOD stuff!!) is 3 boxes for $1.00. Guest guest
Fresh food is very high in Ohio also, my dh was grumbling about it just the other day when we were buying salad stuff! I reminded him - he didn't used to mind paying those high prices for chips, cookies, etc. BarbAnn wrote: That maks sense.
