& Poly: Addition of A list docs in NYC - long

Hi & Poly,

At your recommendation, I e-mailed Dr. Olive regarding additions to

the A list. He did recommend both Dr. Schattman and Dr. Copperman for

the A list! The following is a copy of the letter I wrote him, his

response, and the contact information for both doctors.:

" Dear Dr. Olive,

You were very helpful a few months back in offering me advice

regarding my Asherman's Syndrome and my choice of doctors/treatment

in New York City. I did have my final surgery with Dr. Glenn

Schattman, and I am happy to say that I am now scar-free and trying

to conceive.

The reason I am writing to you again is to ask for another

recommendation. I am a member of an Asherman's Support Group that is

on Yahoo. I know that most doctors are hesitant about any web sites -

(trust me - my own brother is a doctor so I hear it first hand) - and

we do take what we learn and are critical with any information

garnished. However, this web site has been invaluable for me and for

many women around the world in educating us about Ashermans and

methods of treatment/comparing our symptoms/emotional support.

On this web site we have a list of what we call " A List Doctors " that

are doctors that have been recommended by other top-notch doctors as

Ashermans specialists. Would you be willing to recommend both Dr.

Schattman and Dr. Copperman as A List Doctors? In answering this, a

question I might ask is if you would send your daughter or wife to

this doctor if she had a severe case of Ashermans.

The information that women around the world garnish from this web

site is invaluable, and has helped many women get the best care

possible, armed with the best information possible. I appreciate any

feedback that you would be willing to send my way.
