As you may already know, we have other ladies from the Netherlands and I believe they have already written to you. Your English is very readable and don't worry about writing to us and feeling that we won't understand. If we don't understand, then we will ask you again. Your story is very similar to most of us. You are so right in wanting to find out all you can about your body and Ashermans. I think that it is not until you fully understand this condition that you can come to accept some of the ups and downs of Ashermans. I am a little surprised at your outcome with surgery because you did go to an A list doctor and he did not manage to improve your condition at all. You have a blocked uterus and you have had 2 operative surgeries to correct this, but none of the times did this doctor use a barrier to try to stop the uterus from sticking together. Am I right in saying that your uterus is stuck together? I wonder if he had used a barrier if this would have helped you. Have you ever had an ultrasound to see if you have any lining left? What sort of hormones did Dr Wamsteker give you after the surgery and for how long? Maybe he did not give you a strong enough dose, as I have found many of the European doctors don't. Also, do you have any cyclic pains during the month? This could help you understand if you have any living endometrium still there.
