Hello Ladies,

I am relative new to this group, even though I did sign up 12 months ago, I

pulled out because my gyno told me there was no hope of conceiving and to

try adoption or surrogucy.

I went home and cried and practically gave up. Then I decided " no " I will

have a baby and I will find a way. Well 12 months later I now will try IVF.

My appointment is 29th October. I will go to an independent gyno

beforehand(whom I go to now and then to measure my lining) and get an

opinion on my lining. I will then take this to my fertility doctor and ask

him what he thinks of my success with IVF and a lining of ??? (last time it

was 3.6mm in April).

I have a regular 28 day cycle with 2 days heavy and 1 day spotting.

I have tried provera, clomid and now IVF is my last chance, that I am aware

of.

What I would like to know from this group is what do you think about me

going for the IVF treatment? is it too early? should I get my lining

thicker?, after the results of the independent gyno then make a decision?

I am confused, but at 36 years old, I don't have long to hang around and

wait.

I have two beautiful daughters 18 and 11 years old and they keep asking me

for a brother, I tell them jokingly that that means their inheritance will

be less and they tell me they don't care.

I read all your e-mails with enthusiasm and sometimes sorrow, but one thing

I think we have in common is that we all want to have children and we

will!!!!

Milinda
