Guest guest
, congrats! I was gestational and on insulin with all 3 of my babies, I can remember the relief of not having to feel like everything you eat might be affecting baby negatively and that not eating is affecting baby negatively. The funny thing is once your baby is here, you forget all about the troubles of diabetes during preg! I was also induced because of GD with all mine, I wouldn't have had it any other way! I think if I had went into labor on my own I would have had a heart attack, lol. Debi > Well in a few days i'll be 9 months pregnant. According to the ultrasound i > had today is weighing in at 5 pounds 10 ounces! Being a Type 2 they > will induce me at 39 weeks if i don't go into labor before then! Metformin is considered relatively safe. Well Metformin is a catagory B drug as far as it being safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I will just feel better taking insulin that doesn't cross into the breastmilk rather than metformin that does!
