There are other Dr's at the cleveland clinic that have been trained by Dr.

Natale. The only one I know is Dr. Schwiekert. They also have a web site that

lists all their heart Dr's including a description of their specialties.

I think the waiting period is about 6 months for the C.C. I scheduled my PVA

last Sept. & it was to be done in mid March. The Clinic called me about a week

ago & rescheduled for Feb. 13th. I asked about another date since we had planned

to go to Mexico at that time & was advised the next time they could do it (Dr.

Natale) would be in mid to late June (About 6 months later) The change was

necessary because Dr. Natale would not be available on the original date. They

told me if I wanted someone else to do the procedure it could be done sooner.

Also, if you are closer to Cleveland than I am (Des Moines), they will put you

on a list to fill in in the event of a cancellation. I have an acquaintance who

is having the procedure done @ the Arizona Heart Clinic (I believe) & the wait

is 4 to 6 weeks. It is my understanding they are doing the radio frequency

ablation out there. Probably other board members are more knowledgeable about

different techniques for PVA's than myself & will contribute.
