Hi Lillian,

Garlic has zero carbs, zero sugar, and zero fat so I would think you

could use as much as you like!

Yes ma'am, I got it straight from the horse's mouth - the South Beach

Diet Good Fats Good Carbs Guide! It says zero everything in 1 clove of

garlic - so you go girl! Enjoy that garlic. But watch out for the rest

of the stuff you put on/with it. Particularly salt. Even olive oil,

even though it's allowed, has 14 grams of fat in a tablespoon. But as

for the garlic, it's guilt free!

If garlic is limited at all, I'm sunk!! DH won't eat onions, so I flavor

everything with garlic instead.
