Guest guest Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 -- Dear Sweet Alice: A doctor friend of mine told me once that a little knowledge can kill you and so with my little knowledge on personal relationships and how they relate to the written word and the personal feelings we have to others, I am not going to go there. We have as our guru in those matters and I hope he can find the time to write you. My personal opinion is that when we find a person that relates to us on any level and we try to find the answers as to when, where, and why it does not come to us. My few college classes in these matters do not qualify me to give you advise. But as I told someone else on this support group the other day, " turn over on your back and float. " This come from swimming and being stong willed and trying to swim up stream. When the going gets tough and you are winded the coaches in swimming tell you to turn over on your back and float (relax , get your wind, find your stroke, and return after you are again comfortable.) I do try to apply that and it seems to work for me. Maybe you are being too sensitive and stressing yourself out. Hope this helps some and remember we are here, dump the stuff on us and we will support you. Love ya honey, Dee in Peoria Quote
