I just want my clothes to fit right or

loosely again. I can still wear them, but not like they should fit or did last

summer. So having my clothes fit again is rewarding in itself for me!

Discussion Topic: Rewarding yourself

Does anyone go out and buy themselves or do

something small to

reward themselves when reaching a goal? I know the

loss in the

weight itself and being able to fit in smaller

clothes are both the

biggest rewards,amongst feeling healthier or

hearing others

comments, but I mean other than that? Like

something to pat yourself

on the back and say I am doing a good job or maybe

someone else

rewards you and gives you positive reinforcement

in some way. What

do you do to reward yourself?

Reminder:

The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet

teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and

enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats.

My first reward will be at 20lbs lost. I will by myself a new tube

of lipstick.

I know the final reward will be better health and a new wardrobe

but it is good to have little goals along the way. that is what keeps

you going..

i need to think of a good reward, now too. i mean, I will be able to fit my own clothes again, BIG reward, and also have a new PR at the marathon for sure. But I will think of something else and post when I do. trip to an exotic beach somewhere with a new swimsuit maybe. I have to buy a new one anyway!
