Sub- No second line drug for HIV+in Lucknow

Dear Forum,

It is to inform you that this is a serious problem of entire community regarding

second line drug in a regular basis PLHIV are dying but the clear picture is has

not been know till today as far as serious matter regarding second line is

concern in regular basis we are informing to the authorities  through forum .

Till today we lost many PLHIV & many of them are in que.

The response from the authorities we received is this. The  second line ART was

done at two centres on pilot basis for six months. Based  on the experience

from pilot, it is planned to increase its availability further at more centres

in a phased manner.

But it is serious problem for lot of PLHIVs in the country. Because they can't

afford the second line drugs from market they die.

We are helpless & they are hopeless. Now what to do ? May God Help..
