Guest guest
Hi ! Well, I am hypothyroid as well and just recently we have me on the right dose of thyroid meds. My doc says all my remaining problems are due to low estrogen. I really hope we can get it under control soon so I can feel like I'm getting thinner. It's disheartening to follow a diet like this and only lose a pound or so in a week :-( > I had a similar problem. My doctor did a thyroid test and it turned out > that I was hypothyroid (underactive thyroid). Once I started thryoid medicine I > lost alot of weight. I'm down about 35 lbs and am close to my goal. Guest guest
Everybody loses at different rates. How about looking at the glass as half full....that's one pound you wouldn't have lost without being on the beach. Guest guest
This is interesting. I am not sure what number would be low estrogen however I do have the hypothyroid thing and take medicine with it. I too find it extremely hard to lose much more then a pound just by changing habits. I also exercise 5 days a week. My estrogen number was 27 last time it was checked. I would think that was low and I will bring it up next time I talk to her. She is a great listener. Thanks for the information. Jen Hughey wrote: My doc wanted me on a healthy "diet". I have had trouble losingweight, and all kinds of other "women's problems". SB sounded like what he suggested. He says if I eat healthy, myestrogen levels will go up and I will be able to lose weight like aregular person. I have been feeling really dizzy and nauseous lately as well. It's discouraging when your body won't LET you lose weight..Anyoneelse had this problem? Guest guest
- My numbers were in the low 40's and my doc told me " normal " would be 150-200. I'm not sure if this is the same test you took or if the numbers would relate but I would talk to your doc and see what they say about your numbers. I find it hard to exercise because I am so tired all the time. Doc says this will change when estrogen levels go up as well. SIGH. I do feel generally better on " the Beach " though.. Good luck! ~ > This is interesting. I am not sure what number would be low estrogen however I do have the hypothyroid thing and take medicine with it.
