Guest guest
I would be a little wary of sauces as I would think they have lots of sugar, JMO -Beth Re: hot wings (breasts?) recipe!??!?!?! I use a hot wing sauce I found at the .99 store and Big Lots-it has just the right amount of spice and texture--made by Bulliards of Louisiana. COmes in a bottle and I bake my wings or chicken first for an hour, then drain off the juice, then baste well with the wing sauce. Couldn't be easier and is cheap too. Guest guest
The one I use doesn't have much sugar in them. Mostly oil and spices. 1 teaspoon per breast isn't that much for the amount of flavor and variety it gives the chicken. I've lost weight just fine with it. It's not a thick bbq sauce, like some sauces you might be thinking of. But suit yourself. I use the SBD as a guide and not a prison.mom2lose40 wrote: Also we are not to eat wings or legs, correct??? Guest guest
Singapore Wings These are hot and spicy, depending on how much tobasco sauce you put in. The original recipe had honey in it, but I substitute Splenda and it's fine. Singapore Wings 6 pounds chicken wings (or the same amount of other chicken parts) 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup tobasco sauce (I use *waayyy* less, more like a tablespoon) 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup Splenda 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp cornstarch Bake chicken in 425 degree oven until done, about 45 minutes. Put sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir until cornstarch dissolves. Cook over medium low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Toss the cooked chicken with the sauce. Serve with artichokes and bleu cheese dressing. You can make this in the crock pot, too. Just dump it all in and turn on the crock pot. You will need to stir it every so often to evenly coat the chicken. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@...
