I worried, too, when we stopped at Culver's, a frozen custard place, as to what I could get for a treat, so I ordered deep fried cheese curds. At least then I still got my treat without giving into the temptation of custard. I did have one lick of my daughters, but it tasted too sweet. I seem to have lost my sweet tooth. Fortunately, I didnt drink all that was in my glass.. it was a French Velvet Milkshake............french vanilla ice cream, milk, french vanilla syrup, whipped topping and a cherry..... They also bring you the metal container that they actually make the shake in .. the remainder of your shake that doesnt fit into your glass..... I think I am cured of my temptations now.. I was so sick that my daughter was worried.. She kept coming into the bedroom, asking me if I was going to be ok.. She wanted to go out with her beau, and was afraid to leave me.. until I insisted that she go... I told her I needed to sleep.. I am fine today.. but boy, I dont ever want to experience that again .. at least for a very long time.
