well in all fairness...i live in upstate ny and last month i ordered for the

first time from vitalady as well. my order too took awhile but it wasnt

vitaladys fault it was UPS....MIGHT WANNA CHECK THAT ROUTE FIRST. UPS is so

backed up i know here in NY they have even been subcontracting fed-ex for

help so might be that kinda problem and not the companys problem...it took 2

1/2 weeks to get my order....i didnt mind but just wanted to share.

I don't know what the problem is, or if there is a problem at all. But I

just wanted to say that I know for a fact that mailing anything east seems

to take much longer in a lot of instances than it did before Sept. 11th

incident. I have mailed both packages and enveloped mail to Florida and

Kansas. In every instance it now takes at least 3 weeks to get to the

destination.

Just a thought I'd mention it as a possible consideration.

I've been ordering from Vitalady for two years now and my orders have always

taken 10-14 days to arrive (I used to live in upstate New York, now I'm in

Florida). The delay in the shipment arriving has nothing to do with

Vitalady, she ships everything right away. UPS takes their own sweet time

delivering though.

You said you received the notification that the order was shipped. If you

read the notice, you'll see that it has the UPS tracking number on it. If

you track the shipment, you can easily find out where it is and when UPS

expects to deliver it.

Why would you this issue to a public forum the way that you have? Was your

intention to hurt /Vitalady, or damage her business in some way?

Personally, when I have something to discuss with a vendor, I take it to the

vendor directly and don't make it a public issue.

Well, guys, I can hardly believe it but I got my insurance approval this

morning and my surgeon's office called this afternoon to set up my surgery

date.

It looks like I'll be having an open RNY on September 5, 2002.

Tonight was the last night of Backyard Bible Club (all the parents came for

an ice cream social!) and I'm so tired it really hasn't sunk in.

I feel the need to reply to this message. First, this is not the

Vitalady customer service message board. Addressing this here is just

as inappropriate as a person standing up in a church and confronting

their mechanic about their car still having a rattle. However,

and her employees are very professional, and I am sure that

you would get assistance if you would write to the appropriate forum

about your concerns.

Sometimes things happen beyond their control. Once the package has

left their possession, it is beyond their realm of control. And

mistakes do happen - after all, none of us are perfect. I would

think, however, that you would extend her the courtesy of correcting

the problem before you begin to be critical and threatening in a

public forum.

I have ordered several times from www.vitalady.com over the past few

months and always get excellent service and prompt delivery. Here

products are excellent. But I feel I get far more from than

the products she offers on her website. She is more than willing to

share her vast knowledge and life experiences (both the positive and

negative) to help others - all for free on this and other email

groups. What a gift she (and the others like her who also share

information so generously) are to all of us!

So please, use the appropriate customer service contact-

info@... - and give her company the chance it deserves to

address your complaints.

Hello NYWoman - I just want you to know that I've never had a problem with a

Vitalady order. Must be UPS screwed up the delivery. I'm sure will

make things right for you. Also, you can email her privately at

I have also been ordering from / Vitalady for two years now. I have

never had a problem getting an order when it was expected. In fact, I had a

tracking number for my last placed order, and it was due to arrive today.. which

it did right on schedule.

I dont understand why you chose to bring this problem to this group when

and her very efficient staff wouldve taken care of this situation

promptly if notified.

All you had to do was contact Vitalady via phone or email, and she wouldve

corrected the problem even if it meant her incurring costs to do so.

I do hope that in the future you will address the problems with the correct

person(s) before damaging the reputation of a vendor or business online.

me on a pre-op diet like some people have gone on. Does anyone have any

pre-op advice...?

I have always been extremely pleased with the speed of my deliveries from

Vitalady. They are usually very quick and well packaged. I would say a

postal problem......

Vitalady has very dependable service and I have not found any better

service and if there is a problem with it I would say there is a problem

with Ups so do a track from the confirmation
