Guest guest
They seem to think 12 weeks in the band is the max. His plagio was pretty severe so CT was pretty up front about what to expect from the first band. I guess it's possible that they gave me the worst case scenario and maybe one band will be enough but I definitely don't see it. His ears and eyes are still way off and the right side is still pretty flat. From the back it looks like someone pushed the back of his head off to the left. I don't know if the insurance co has any measurement requirements. They didn't ask for anything with the first band....I was lucky...they just covered it. According to CT, if they cover it once, they have to cover it again. And I guess I will find out on the 15th what the neuro surgeon says. Thanks for the cheering section. I may be asking you some more questions if I have any problems down the road. Bottom line, I would pay out of pocket for a 2nd band (don't know how but I would find a way) because the improvement is so amazing and I want him to have to best looking head possible.
