I'm not sure what you mean, perhaps others hear can help you out. I

also had to appeal (different HMO) and won. It sounds like your

letter is great and your child definitely has a medical reason to

need it. GOOD LUCK!

Lorraine-

What is DME? Did you have to write a letter to UHC or did they just

approve it from the submission from the doctors?
