Lynda, welcome back!! My husband has been to Alaska and loves it--

hope I can go someday. It sounds like your did so well thanks to

Armour, correct?? And when you mention recovering fast, that is one

aspect of Armour that truly amazed me---how fast I recover from

anything, whereas before, it might take days of misery!! Yipeeeeee!!

bedtime to reset my body clock and feel ok today.

places we visited (in Alaska) I did feel tired after walking but

soon recovered.

I used to live in AK for 6 1/2 years. It is amazing how many people have thyroid

issues. I wonder if it is the 6 months of dark since most of us seem to need

sunlight for feeling well.

Hi Janie,

thank you for the welcome back!

Yes, the recovery time is what made the difference. Only about 3 weeks before

I went away it was taking me 3 days to recover from a short walk so I was

dreading what would happen while I was away. It is either down to Armour or

cortef, I don't know which.

I still experience muscle fatigue though. For instance, I can't style my hair.

My arms ache even while I am washing my hair (in the shower) No way can I use

a hair dryer, the muscles at the top of my arms scream if I try to. I have

short hair and can get away with using a bit of styling gel or mousse and just

leaving it to dry.

I just started Shomon's autoimmune book and she does go through

which race or area of the world are more prone to certain illnesses.

I remember something about iodine and the northern climates because

of the ice age or something like that.
