Guest guest
Lynda, welcome back!! My husband has been to Alaska and loves it-- hope I can go someday. It sounds like your did so well thanks to Armour, correct?? And when you mention recovering fast, that is one aspect of Armour that truly amazed me---how fast I recover from anything, whereas before, it might take days of misery!! Yipeeeeee!! Janie in Colorado USA > Hi everyone, I'm back from my holiday. > Arrived back yesterday but after a 10 hour flight and 8 hours time difference I felt like I was floating. Hung out until my regular bedtime to reset my body clock and feel ok today. > I was surprised at how well I did. Managed to walk around the places we visited (in Alaska) I did feel tired after walking but soon recovered. > Hope everyone is doing well, I think I am going to be doing laundry for the rest of the week!! > Lynda (in the UK) > > >
Guest guest
I used to live in AK for 6 1/2 years. It is amazing how many people have thyroid issues. I wonder if it is the 6 months of dark since most of us seem to need sunlight for feeling well. Re: Hi - I'm back Lynda, welcome back!! Guest guest
Hi Janie, thank you for the welcome back! Yes, the recovery time is what made the difference. Only about 3 weeks before I went away it was taking me 3 days to recover from a short walk so I was dreading what would happen while I was away. It is either down to Armour or cortef, I don't know which. I still experience muscle fatigue though. For instance, I can't style my hair. My arms ache even while I am washing my hair (in the shower) No way can I use a hair dryer, the muscles at the top of my arms scream if I try to. I have short hair and can get away with using a bit of styling gel or mousse and just leaving it to dry. Lynda (in the UK) Re: Hi - I'm back Lynda, welcome back!! Guest guest
I just started Shomon's autoimmune book and she does go through which race or area of the world are more prone to certain illnesses. I remember something about iodine and the northern climates because of the ice age or something like that. Louise > I used to live in AK for 6 1/2 years.
