i tell my 25 year old daughter all the time that her generation can't come up

with any good music - she listens to " our " stuff all the time. I about fell

over when I got in the car with her and she pops in Carole King's Tapestry.

These kids think they invented it all...heck, we were the ones there when it

all started. Joan Baez, The Allman Brothers, The Doobie Brother, Phoebe Snow,

Hi Cindi

Now that takes me back, remember also. On the t.v. over

here in the u.k. they are using a lot of the old 70's stuff in

commercials, My son (who sees hisself as a heavy metal/rock god type)

is amazed i had " heard " of Led Zeppelin !!! These kids think they

discovered them !!!!

Janie did a post yesterday on joining the cafe she created on conversations like

the funnier lighter ones we've been having lately. I did not know that it

existed until now. The direct address is in her post.

An all time favorite of mine!!

if they aren't listening to the original oldies, 'their' groups are remaking

them, and calling them their own! and the youngsters don't even realize they are

older songs!
