I'm glad to hear that Ethan is adjusting well to his DOC Band. My

daughter also has a DOC Band and has experienced shifting

as well. Especially after each adjustment. Right when you think

it's starting to fit better he'll need an adjustment and it will

shift again. CT told me it was okay if it shifted over the front

part of their ear and was pushing it back a bit. They said this

happens and is okay as long as it's not causing any discomfort.

However, they also told me that if it was being pushed from behind

causing the ear to push forward that they would want to know about

it.

If you are concerned you can call CT and tell them about it. Do you

have any pictures? It's hard to tell if it's fitting correctly

without seeing it.

Good Luck,

Thanks SO much for your reply. Actually it is pushing the ear from

behind-----now that I think about it if one side is pushing from

behind the ear then the other side must be pushing from the front of

the ear. No pictures as of yet. It seems to fit good when he is not

laying down, but then we he lays down it moves slightly.

My sons band did the same thing when he first started. I called CT

and they had me wait until the first scheduled check (at 1 week of

wearing) and at that time they trimmed the ear opening in the band to

resolve the issue. I would recommend calling and getting their

opinion on whether you should bring him in early or wait until your

next scheduled visit.

Also, so glad to hear that Ethan is adjusting well. was also

7m when he received his band. It's been 7 weeks and the results are

amazing!

I know what you're saying about if one side is pushing on the front

of one ear then the other side would be pushing from behind. It

makes sense. However, 's band has a larger opening on the

velcro side. When the band shifted and pushed the opposite side ear

back there was enough room on the velcro side that it didn't push

that ear forward. Does that make sense? It sounds like Ethan's

doesn't do that.

If it is pushing one ear forward I would call CT and see what they

say. Good luck to you and Ethan.
