I've been on 150mcg spread in 6 doses for a week or so and am doing pretty well on that. Should I expect a lurch in requirement when receptors clear out or is that a reasonable dose to stabilise on long term? An interesting thought is what is the bodies conversion efficiency at converting T4 to T3? would a total replacement dose of T3 be expected to be lower than that of T4 due to conversion losses or does most of the T4 get converted to T3 when things are working well meaning that the same dose would be needed despite the T3 being more bioactive? Potency in T3 brands is VERY differnt from one brand to the next. On Tiromel I was almost below range in FT3 on 100mcg. LA Pharma same thing! Cynomel from Aventis is slightly better but stil nto as potent as Cynomel ofrm mexico. Guest guest Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 I'm sorry if this was answered already, but what is the concensus of US cytomel vs. Grossman Cynomel from mexico. I'm on a combo of 25mcg T3 and 75 t4 but ran out of US Cytomel. My insurance doesn't kick in till next week and I have an unopened bottle of Grossman cynomel I bought a while back.
