That's is great....although I also know it doesn't in any way reduce your desire to have more children. I have a daughter who is 3 and so much wants a sibling...and I'm hopeful that will happen now after surgery. Anyway, the standard medical answer is that you should have a period 3-10 days after stopping the provera. My experience has been that if I don't get a period by day 4 or 5 then I'm not going to get one. They tried provera on me as well before officially diagnosing my Asherman's and it didn't work at all because my cervix was scarred shut. It is quite interesting that you have had multiple retained placentas. It does seem as if you may be genetically prone to having them. I wonder why? I myself am prone to " keloid " which are large puffy raised scars. I get them just about every time I have a cut into my skin of some kind. They are genetic and are due to a hyper- collagenic response. I have often wondered whether the two conditions are connected in some way. Do you have keloid scars? Let us know what happens with your provera test. Have you talked to an Asherman's specialist yet? ARe you with an OB right now or an RE? Where do you live?
