Guest guest
Hi Robin, You are starting Owen with the band at such a great age. I know how you feel. I was sooo excited to start the process, but of course I was also sad that 's little head would be covered with a hard helmet! Trust me...you can still cuddle and kiss him. I always look forward to and enjoy the hour a day that he has it off. Good luck to you and Owen! Guest guest
Let us know how it goes. It does take a little getting used to. I had to get used to finding other places to kiss him because I loved kissing his head. Now I set aside an hour each night to sit with him with his helmet off. It's become a nice ritual and I get my " baby head " fix. Guest guest
Hi Robin, I hope your first day with Owen's band went well. Please let us know how you guys are doing. Don't worry about hugging, you get used to the helmet, just kiss the top of his head, his ears, his cheeks, just look out for the helmet head buts! & Aidan in CT 13.5 months doc band 7/21 In Plagiocephaly , " rjsnobbin " <robincollins@v...> wrote: > > Just letting you all know we get our DOC Band tomorrow! > I am excited to start the process and a bit unsettled about not > being able to hug him w/out the helmet in the way... but oh well, at > least we are on the road to making his head rounder. : ) > Robin (mom of Owen 5 1/2 mo. w/tort and plagio) and Hayden 2 yrs.
