As for your question about waiting 3 months to conceive, I've never been told that. In fact, both my last doctor (who I now believe to be an idiot) and Dr. Valle both indicated that once I get the " all clear " we should start ttc immediately, the sooner the better. Good luck at your HSG tomorrow, and try not to be nervous. I actually felt somehow better after mine even though the news was terrible because at least I finally had a diagnosis after so many months of being a " medical mystery " ! And you don't really need the radiologist to tell you what they see, at every HSG I have had I have been able to see the screen just fine....what you are looking for is a uterus with an inverted triangle shape.....the dye should " fill " the cavity and give you a clearly visible triangle....if you don't get a triangle, then you know you have something blocking the dye, either adhesions or polyps or something.....in my case not only didn't we see a triangle, but all we could see was a small " blob " of dye no more than a centimeter long.... But that was almost 11 months ago and I hope that my next HSG will finally give me the " triangle " I've been working so hard and so long to restore!!
