Further Proactive Actions in Orissa

Dear Forum,

There is a good news regarding CD 4 Machine. The Chief Minister Mr. Naveen

Pattnaik inaugurated the CD 4 machine at Berhampur, Ganjam district of Orissa on

07.02.2008. Now the PLHIVs can access this facility within Orissa. The Project

Director of OSACS shared this information during a discussion in his office.

The District Collector of Ganjam has already started disbursing the Pension to

the PLHIVs in Sheragarh block of Ganjam district. As per the information from

Project Director, the Women and Child Welfare Department has already allocated

Rs.48 Lakh for the Pension of PLHIVs in Orissa.

The OLD AGE PENSION, DISABILITY PENSION and PENSION for the PLHIVs would be

covered under Madhu Babu Pension Scheme in Orissa with the support of WCD

Department.
