Guest guest
Hi Donna! It sounds like you had a very thorough apptm't at CT. I do not think that they would mislead you if Alyssa did not need a helmet. A standard deviation of 3 definitely sounds like a shape that could be corrected with a helmet. The decision is ALWAYS ultimately up to you whether or not to band. As far as ins. I have no idea what you have. Did you call your member services dept. and speak with them? If you do want to get the helmet no matter what I wouldn't want to wait to long. Again, it depends on whether or not you want to risk having to pay it yourself vs. how long would you have to wait? The younger she is, the better and quicker her correction will be. I'm sorry if I am making you anxious. Find out what the wait time will be for your ins. pre- authorization (or whatever they call it). Let us know how it goes. Guest guest
Well, you should ask them if not obtaining a pre-authorization will cause them to decline payment or if it will just delay you being reimbursed. > > > > > > Hello Everyone, > > > > > > I just wanted to give you an update that we went to CT yesterday > > and > > > Alyssa was seen by . Guest guest
Hey Donna. If it makes you fell better, DID NOT think we needed a second band on Blythe and said so. It was our pediatrician (who I would also consider a friend) who thought she would benefit from another round of treatment. agreed that there was more room for improvement, but of the therapists we have worked with (which due to our crazy schedule is a lot) I would say she is one of the more conservative and chooses her words carefully. She is pretty clear about expectations, etc. If she says you should do it, she means you will see good correction. If she thought correction would be unpredictable or marginal, she would say so. Blythe had excellent correction with her #1 DOC and the remaining facial asymmetry may or may not be resolved with a second band. was very clear on that point which I appreciated greatly. She shoots straight. --- In Plagiocephaly , " dperino28 " <dperino28@y...> wrote: > > Hello Everyone, > > I just wanted to give you an update that we went to CT yesterday and > Alyssa was seen by .
