Melody,

Know where you are coming from, but I will have to say that three of my girls

have called or come by and wished me Happy Mother's Day. My eldest son, who

lives at home finally wished me Happy Mothers Day after someone reminded him

that it was Mothers Day. Have not heard from my two youngest though.

Must be a "guy" thing - but then again......the ONLY person to wish me a happy mother's day was my dad! Of all the people he was the only one to call and wish me a Happy Mother's Day.....go figure! (though I'm sure my step-mom had something to do with that LOL)

I did make myself a very nice ham dinner today - was a very good girl - served myself up 1/2 a slice of ham, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes and about a 1/4 cup of peas...got me a glass of iced tea and went outside and ate all by myself. Didn't bother to serve anyone else - didn't even tell 'em it was done. Took them all about an hour and a half to even figure out I was gone.......oh well, that's ok - I enjoyed my dinner. It was really nice outside - wasn't hot, wasn't cold - it was just right with a real nice little breeze blowing.

Now it has started raining and I've been forced back indoors - Mikey is sleeping (his new puppy kept him up all night) - Mike is in the shower and (Mikey's friend) is playing video games.

I figure I'll check email, clean up the kitchen and then maybe go take a nap too :)

Hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Mother's Day

I should have been so good, I snacked all day long. Did finally hear from all

my kids except one. One of my son-in-laws called tonight and invited us over

for supper, he had cooked out on the grill....steak, potato salad, red beans.

Sure was good. I'm sure that it will show up on the scale on Tuesday night.

Ruin my losing streak.

LOL not necessarily - if you've been good the rest of the week and toss in a little extra exercise it might not hurt ya at all ;)

I'm so glad you were honored :) I did finally get a hug and an "I love you" from Mikey and right before hubby left he threw money at me and told me to take my step-mom out to the Olive Garden for lunch tomorrow (hmmm....I might be holding MY breath on the scale Tuesday!)

Just stay on track tomorrow and you should be fine on Tuesday. Increase the water a little to help with swelling if you have any. If you do gain a little, you know what it was from and just tell your members that it sure was good. This day only comes once a year and you didn't eat chocolate cake or anything.

I have one thing to say...STAY AWAY FROM THE BREADSTICKS!!!! Hold on I can say that about the salad also. I could just eat salad and breadsticks. Forget the soup and entree. Give me the salad and breadsticks.

I would eat the whole chicken alfredo. I love alfredo sauce. I love alfredo pizza at CiCi's. I don't go to CiCi's anymore.
