Does anyone have TriCare for active duty members? Did you have any

problems with them covering treatment? I know they only way to know

for sure is to call, but I just wanted to get a heads up. Thanks in

advance!

Hello

Where are you located? We are in Germany, so my daughter's band was

paid for 100%. TriCare has an exclusion for bands, and they do

about anything to not pay. I've yet heard of a covered band from

TriCare sinse being a member (october 03)in the US, but heard of 2

covered in Germany.

Good luck

Hi ,

I have active duty Tri-care Prime. They will NOT pay under any circumstances. I spoke to them last week regarding my son. If you are stationed in the states it will also say so in you Tri-Care handbook under exclusions. My son went to his casting for a Starband today and as I was told there, they will work with you if you decide to pay out of pocket, payment plans etc. From what I have heard on this site though is, that if you are stationed overseas, he will most likeley be covered. Hope this hepls. <h_grogan@...> wrote:
