Hi there

It might be worth making sure he is cool during naps and sleep in

addition to the very sensible advice of sticking with it. My

daughter used to get quite hot and bothered during naps- so keep the

room really cool (almost cold), dress him lightly (no socks, just a

onesie, a very light covering), and take the helmet off after a nap

to let any sweat dry (hopefully if you keep him cool, he won't sweat

too much anyway). I know I'm boring, and I know I go and on about

keeping babies cool (see my other posts, it's all I ever say!), but

I really think a lot of early problems of adjusting and red spots

are made worse by not keeping babies cool enough and letting them

get hot and sweaty- the band starts to itch and the baby starts to

pull at it...I think it is so easy to underestimate how hot the

bands make them.

Hope it goes ok, I'm sure he'll adjust pretty quickly.
