Guest guest
>hey Val . I only plan on lowering to 20 mg HC. and my foot surgery is the first week of August. That seems a more acceptable number when I have to fess up. I may just tell her I am taking isocort since it is a free country, and it is an over the counter product. I am a little shaky, lowering the morning dose of HC from 10 to 7.5. Can I ride it out and hope my own cortisol output kicks in? I moved my 2.5 HC dose from 6:00pm to bedtime (9:00pm) hoping to be able to keep this lower am dose. thanks conny > Connie if you lower it too much where your adrenals are screaming you > will NOT help yourself during a surgery. The danger is form low cortiosl > not taking it. > > -- >
Guest guest
You can try ot ride it out but keep in mind if you have NAUSEA TAKE some HC. That is adrenals being damaged which you do not need. You may also lower thyroid as that may releive some straing ont he adrenals. I just would not go backwards for ANY doctor! I have fessed to my doctor and he won;t prescribe for it but he does not say ONE WORD abotu me doing it as my health is SO much better than it used to be. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
>thanks Val. I have another question. I reduced from 30 to 25 mg HC, by lowering my second dose and my fourth dose. I did this 3 weeks ago. I now do 10, 7.5,5 2.5 If I am not able to lower my first am dose, can I lower my second dose again (to 5) without screwing anything up, to 10, 5, 5, 2.5? thanks again conny > You can try ot ride it out but keep in mind if you have NAUSEA TAKE some > HC.
