We feel confident it is a heat rash. We do all we can to keep him cool, but he is a hot box. Any suggestions on getting rid of the rash and keeping it away? Thanks! Guest guest Posted December 25, 2004 Report Share Posted December 25, 2004 Hi April, Every couple of hours take his band off and wipe down his head and the inside of his band with a towel. Once his body temp adjusts the sweating will basically stop. You can also use Cortizone Kids Cream with Aloe it's only 0.5% hydrocortisone. > > Our son is on his 3rd week of therapy.
