Guest guest
Hi Debbie, The ortho is most important. I'm assuming the Mayo clinic is rather experienced in treating plagio, but I do not know this for a fact. Did you ask how many children they have treated or how many new patients start each month? For comparison the CT in Charlotte, NC casts 50-60 new patients each month. There are links to questions to ask the orthos and prescribing physicians in the links section. What does the ns say in San Diego? They obviously have an opinion on your dd with cranio. There is a CT in San Diego, but with your daughter's age you would be flying about every week to 10 days. There are 2 licensed DOC Band centers in Wisconsin and 2 Cranial Tech locations in Chicago. You could look into Angel flight which would fly you and your daughters to their appointments for free. We have had many parents do this. Before you get worried I would ask the Mayo clinic folks some very detailed questions and talk to the ns in San Diego.
