He also told us that what Nick has in his eye quacked like a duck, but was actually a horse. His way of trying to explain why they might have misdiagnosed Nick I guess. Whatever. He has also had retina specialists in Dallas and Wichita. We just took Nick to Dr. this week and we will be using him as his new retina specialist. He is also a regular ophthalmologist and does eye exams so I guess we really don't need to take Nick back to his pediatric ophthalmologist. I will keep taking him to his regular ped. ophthalmologist, though, since this is the doctor who finally told us he thought Nick has a hamartoma and referred him for an MRI. Lots of fun since then.
