It will never happen. I am i Canada and in a rather rural area. I

managed to somehow find the only doctor in a 60 mile radius accepting

patients. He just got out of med school and I heard through the

gravevine about him - thank god! I searched the Ontario college of

Physicians and Surgeons, and sure enough, he was still accepting

patients. He has probably already met his quota. Anyway, he will be my

doctor for everything unless I need a referal to a specialist. He

thinks desiccated is ancient mashed up glands, so I just don't see how

I could persuade him to get my adrenals checked. He's just not

progressive at all, but at least I have a doctor for my kiddos.

In that case if i were you i'd get some sort of adrenal support and

take it

my strategy for getting my adrenals tested was to say that

I want you to write in my notes

" patient thinks she has adrenal insufficiency. "

Once they do that..they have to test...they are opening themselves

to legal action if it later transpires that you have. They tested

mine straightaway after I said that!!!

They were borderline...absolutely just...very just O.K. After a

stimulation test my Cortisol level rose to 550...if it had been 549

it would have been adrenal insufficiency...makes you want to

spit!!!!!!

Anyway..try that approach...it could just work!

Hi & everyone,

I was just surfing the net & came accross this website all about

thyroids, adrenals etc & it's very good. A section on adrenals

mentions dark rings under the eyes.

I found it useful anyway & it references Broda & basal temp

testing too.

Order your own from places like salivatest.com. Are you all allowed to import

these tests and send them back out?
