Guest guest Posted July 2, 2002 Report Share Posted July 2, 2002 The combination drugs are hard to adjust because a change in dosage changes both the T3 and T4... it might be easier to be on separate T3 and T4 if the combo works better for you, that gives your doc more leeway for adjusting. Most of us, I believe, are on just a T4, synthroid, levoxyl, etc.. some percentage of the group are on both a t4 and then t3 (cytomel) barb > > I have a question for the Dr.Ain or anyone else who can answer it > for me. Plus of course alot of blood tests.Do you think I will feel any difference being on this. The doctor did say not to expect anything until 3 weeks. I told him about our group and believe it or not he knew about the group and said it is a good group. I was surprised he said that, well maybe I found a good endo, finally. You will probably need 3 - 4 weeks to feel a difference.. but the blood test levels take a little longer than that.
