Sharon, I too have that problem with being HOT (was looking forward to

being cold and severely disappointed)......it is only intensified when my

TSH is higher!!! (they must have thought I was a nut).....and can you

believe that I live in SAN ANTONIO TEXAS!!! Boy what a lovely time it

is......LOL

Re: This is going to sound strange because it is NOT the norm, but has

been proven true for me and may be your Mom's problem.

I also have abrupt sweating and can bearly tolerate heat, this began

while i was hypo in prep for my RAI. I know, I know, everyone else

gets cold, but believe me i was HOT!!! Very disappointing too as i

was looking forward to being cold. I have never liked heat, this made

it way worse as i was expecting the opposite. The concern currently

is that i am still hypo, my levels having never been adjusted

correctly since the RAI, AND i am still having this heat problem.

Also my pharamcist told me a side effect to synthroid is heat

intolerance.

I don't know if this helps but this is what has proven to be the case

with me. Even though i am " odd man out " here.

Hi : I can imagine as our humidity is awful here in Missouri and

are having 90 + temps. It IS too bad we couldn't have been " cold "

like everyone else. Nice to know i have company, though i wouldn't

wish this off on you or anyone else. :-)
