Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry you're having such a rough couple of days. I'm so glad your mom is doing better though and that she took her chest pains seriously enough for them to catch it in time. She's one lucky woman. Sorry to hear about bing sick too. Hopefully her tilt will disappear with that cold soon. And yes, it's terrible about Allie. There aren't words for it really. I think many of us have shed tears w/that family, despite only knowing them through the website. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad 7/29 Cape Cod, Ma --- In Plagiocephaly , kelly <docbandbabies@s...> wrote: > HI Everyone, > > Sorry I haven't been around the last few days it has been an interesting, scary, emtional last few days. I have been in Abilene since monday. About 2:45am Monday morning my mom called and said she needed to be taken to the hospital because she was having chest pains, after lots of test and the usual stuff they decided to transfer her to Hendricks hospital in Abilene where her Cardiologist is, (she has had a heart catherrization before and has 3 stints in), anyways they ended up finding an artery that was 98% blocked and said she had caught it just in time, the doctor actually told her she was a heart attack waiting to happen, so they did surgery on Tuesday, (was that just yesterday???) and all went well, she should be home today if her blood pressure stays within range. > On top of all the stuff with my mom, is sick, she has a cold or something. You know the symptoms...snotty nose, crankiness, whinning, fever, the works.....so this morning she gets up and her tilt is back full force. I know in part it is because she is just plain tired. We didn't get home until after 11:00pm last night and she and hubby didn't get home until after midnight monday night. I have been massaging and working her neck all morning, it is starting to respond....will this never end????? > Of course I checked my e-mail this morning and found out little miss Allie had died and that was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I just sat and bawled like a baby, and I only knew her through her web site. Guest guest
, I'm so sorry to hear about everything that you're going thru. I' glad that your mom is recovering. What a scare. Thank goodness she caught the symptoms in time. I hope feels better soon. You are a good mom, try to keep your chin up and her therapy going! She *will* get better! Yes I did read about Allie - it is too sad and too unfair and I can't think about it too much or I will lose it. Take care and feel better soon. Write us again soon so that we know how u r doing.
