Guest guest
Haven't you already seen a doctor? Usually a neurosurgeon or craniofacial are the most common doctors who prescribe bands but a regular ped can as well. natasha --- In Plagiocephaly , " momma6704 " <momma6704@y...> wrote: > I looked at the cranial technologies website, and there isn't a > location close to me. Guest guest
Alison-- The specialists that deal with plagio are usually plastic surgeopns (craniofacial surgeons) or neurosurgeons because they must rule out a condition called craniosynostosis which looks like plagio, but requires surgery. The best approach is to go first to your pediatrician and ask who does the ped. craniofacial stuff in your area. Pediatric surgeons can be a bit tough to find without some direction. I live in Tulsa, but had to go to Oklahoma City for my specialist and eventually ended up in Dallas for treatment. Guest guest
Alison, We went to see a Neurologist and they reffered us to a clinic in our area that treats Plagio with Doc Bands - it's not an actual CT clinic - but there is a theripist there that specializes in Plagio treatment and has been doing it for nearly 20 years. Good luck!!! Jodie Mom to Jack --- In Plagiocephaly , " momma6704 " <momma6704@y...> wrote: > I looked at the cranial technologies website, and there isn't a > location close to me. Guest guest
Children's Hospital 8200 Dodge Street Omaha, NE 68114 Marinkovich (orthotist), Bruneteau, MD and Bradly Schaeffer, MD (Co-Directors) (402) 955-4168 http://www.chsomaha.org/g5-bin/client.cgi?G5button=158 This place is in our databse, we haven't had any members use them so we don't know how much experience they have in treating plagio babies. It's worth looking into though. I hope you find this helpful. --- In Plagiocephaly , " momma6704 " <momma6704@y...> wrote: > I looked at the cranial technologies website, and there isn't a > location close to me.
