Guest guest
I already checked into the risks of mad cow and how it may relate to bovine glandular... I'm not worried a bit..... If they were to contaminate the adrenal tissue they'd also be contaminating the meat that is sold for food.... so... I can't see them killing of all their meat eating customers.... even if they didn't care much for those of us using the glandulars made from the cows.... Guest guest
Hello , Tuesday, April 27, 2004, 1:13:09 AM, you wrote: G> Taking glandular extracts (esp. adenal) are likely to be hazardous to G> your health because of risk of MAD COW. One thing which has interested me is that haematologists who used to routinely mash cadaver brains for clotting reagents for testing of blood for warfarin patients are not at any higher risk of CJD - weird when you consider the mechanism for Kuru was originally meant to be transmission via preparation of brain for eating rather than actually eating it. However now the 'story' has changed somewhat -very odd IMO I hate to think how much human brain reagent i have had up my nose when opening bottles or over my hands in those good old pre AIDS, pre-glove for routine work days - i think taking adrenal supplements poses a of minuscule risk by comparison Getting into a car on the otherhand is a much higher risk activity. Its always interesting how much emphasis is put on non-pharmaceutical remedies and danger when getting drugs recalled or prescriptions halted even when folk are dropping like flies seems too difficult . Of course getting Drs to report side effects of the newest magic drug is a problem as so often patients complaints are ignored. -- Best regards, Alison http://www.alisonashwell.com mailto:alison.ashwell@... new work uploaded http://www.artwanted.com/alisonashwell http://www.voodoochilli.net/artists/alisonashwell/
Guest guest
Topper, I believe what they do is take a lot of bovine adrenal glands and concentrate them. It is like the clotting factor they got for the hemopheliacs. It took the blood from thousands of donors to come up with the factor, thus concentrating the Aids virus. But hopefully there is very little MAD COW in the adrenal gland support. Maybe it can be bought from pig sources instead. > I already checked into the risks of mad cow and how it may relate to > bovine glandular... I'm not worried a bit.....
